The EFL play-offs consist of a series of knockout matches, with the winners of each round advancing to the next. In total, 15 fixtures are held across the Championship, League One, and League Two, culminating in the Championship play-off final.

The final is held at Wembley Stadium in London and is a single-leg match that decides the final team to earn promotion to the Premier League.
